Our Econo Skylight Blind is the budget friendly option for those who want to cover the window, but who do not need complete blackout. It is available for the most popular types of VELUX® windows, in two dimout and two blackout colours. Looking for a better blackout solution in more sizes and colours? Then our Premium Skylight Blind might be a better option for you!
What is the main difference between the Econo Blind and the Premium Skylight Blind?
The biggest difference is that the Econo Blind does not come with siderails. Instead it is a hook system where you place the hooks inside your window frame. This means you can close the blind only at the positions where the hooks are mounted, e.g. half way and fully closed. The Premium Skylight Blind can be stopped at any position and offers superior blackout, but the Econo has a lower price tag.
My VELUX® window size is not listed, can I request it?
Econo is only available for a limited set of popular sizes. If you can not find your size, please take a look at our Premium Skylight blind as it comes in almost every size. Econo's can not be made to measure on request, Premium Skylight Blinds can.
When should I go for the Econo blind
If you want to create shade in your room but you do not need complete blackout, then the Econo is our most affordable option.
